The name Hayat holds profound significance. It means life. More than that, it has always been a quiet reminder of the life I have been given, the life I carry within me, and the life that continues to move through me each day. It represents resilience, presence, and the responsibility to live with intention. My name was never just a name. It became a grounding force, a reminder of what it means to truly be alive, even in the midst of pain, uncertainty, and growth.
This understanding naturally shaped the foundation of my work.
The word “Embodied” reflects the belief that healing is not just something we think about. It is something we feel, experience, and move through within our bodies. So many of us learn to disconnect from our emotions, to suppress or intellectualise our pain. Embodied therapy invites you back into yourself. It is about slowing down, tuning in, and learning how to experience what has long been avoided or pushed away safely.
